Mechanic Resurrection menceritakan tentang Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) yang diminta oleh teman masa kecilnya untuk membunuh tiga orang. Saat itu, Arthur sedang melarikan diri dengan memalsukan kematiannya. Dia tinggal di Rio de Janeiro dengan nama Santos. Ketika sedang makan siang, Arthur didekati oleh wanita misterius yang memintanya untuk membunuh tiga target dengan memanipulasi kematian tersebut sebagai kecelakaan.
